Do people play street soccer in the hoods of the US?
yea look at my screen name…then look at my avatar….then put it together… i LUV soccer and there are new programs that are making it possible for af-am children to become interested and skilled in sports they certainly wouldnt have been otherwise. Like there is the HOCKEY IN THE HOOD progam…. and when i used to live in the city i would always bring out my soccer ball and get everyone to join in. Ive found that ppl will play anything as long as it provides an adrenaline rush and u get to be competitive. Soccer, as we both know, offers all those things and more. But yea programs are showing up where soccer can be taken to predominantly black neighborhoods and introduced and played. Also…im sure there is SOME place where street soccer is played…just it wouldnt be as popular. and once u play ur hooked bcuz there is no other sport like it. Started when i was 9 and have been a center-mid ever since.
