Do people in Europe watch the Copa América?
I was stationed in London, England with the Army. It was one of those special deployments and while I was there I liked going out. Eventually I ran into a neighborhood they called little Mexico. I made friends there, they took me out to different places and showed me the city. Sports Bars, Malls, and so on, soccer was every where. Copa America is very popular in London. It was going on while I was there. The favorite team from South America is of course is Brazil and the most hatted was Argentina. So the celebration they had when Brazil made 3-0 on Argentina this last Copa America was big. I think it has something to do with the war the British had with Argentina a few years back. The favorite team from North America varies between Mexico and the US. Mainly because there’s a lot of Americans and Mexicans in London and it depends who the locals hang out with.
