Do people have the right to commit suicide?
The simple answer is no. The reasons for suicide in most cases is the desire to escape from some sort of pain and experience. It is then thought that by physical death one can end it all and be relieved of this distress. Since the vast majority of people do not believe in life after death, it is then indeed assumed that as long as the physical body is destroyed, then that is the end of it all. However, these people err. The spiritual distress or otherwise that led to these people taking their lives will not be relieved at all after earthly death. If anything at all it will be intensified through the added guilt of this act. The experiences that led them to commit this act were only brought on by themselves and no one else. It is the way they have lived their lives through so many incarnations that has led to these experiences. We must all face up to this. We live amidst the consequences of all our actions and we indeed must reap and experience these consequences, no matter how terrible
