No, Israel should not get special “privileges” different from any other country. It should be treated the same way as any other Western style democracy faced with existential threats from terrorist group, hostile populations, and neighbouring countries who can’t even work their way up to recognizing it after 60 year of existence. Unfortunately, Israel is singled out numerous times by the UN, the media, its critics, etc. etc.

I don’t know what special privileges you are talking about but as Christians, we are to pray for the peace of Israel. As a Christian nation, we are to protect Israel from anyone wanted to blow them off the face of the Earth. So if that is special privileges, then yes!

Countries are sovereign. That is their special privilege. All countries share that. Any sovereign country can choose to declare war against another sovereign country. Other countries are free to react to that.
