Do parents know this about soy infant formula?
This is why you should breast feed!!!! No other formula has anywhere near the nutrition! Why are so many of today’s mothers so dang lazy?? It is just in the last 10 years that regulations forced infant formula companies to have as much vitamins and nutrients as DOG FOOD! Thank you very much for sharing this!!!!
I was given soy formula as an infant – I am 55 now, very healthy and pretty smart (120 IQ give or take) – had 2 girls (no problem with my reproductive development) – no speech problems (just ask my husband) – and soy is high in aluminum? Will have to look that one up. Don’t get me wrong, I breast fed both my girls and highly recommend it (cuts down on allergies, asthma, immunity – and increases IQ, among many other benefits plus the cuddles) – but if there are extenuating circumstances (which there were with me as an infant) it might have to be used as an alternative. Your posting could scare the he** out of someone who has had a soy formula recommended to them by their doctor. Do you have literature to back up these statements? One only needs to ask one’s pediatrician (hoping that they have selected a good one) about alternative formulas – pros and cons.
exactly why everyone who CAN should breastfeed, at least pumped into a bottle because who knows what they will say about formula in 20 years. A lot of man made food is poison in some way, shape, or form. What do you do if you find your baby doesn’t do well on formula and then you let your milk dry up. How horrible to put a child through that. Disposable diapers have also been linked to problems such as toxic shock syndrome and the stuff has been found inside of male urethras and can cause infertility in males due to the high temperature during testicular development. Most countries have outlawed the chemicals we put in our diapers. You just cant trust putting man made stuff on your babies anymore. Go as natural as possible.
I have 3 kids & was unable to breastfeed. I had to give my children formula, though I would much have preffered to breast feed; I could not produce milk. My children, like me were enemic at birth so the Dr.s put them on iron fortified formula (Enfamil w/ Iron). However, the iron hurt their stomaches makeing them either constapated, throwing up, or in constant pain. We tried another formula, but it was still to tough on them. All 3 of my kids have had to have Enfamil’s GentleEase. My oldest is 3 & nothing is wrong with him. In fact he is considered to be above average for a child his age. His father has ADD & CP (he was breatfed), but he has neither. None of my children do. So what does that say about the so-called ‘experts’ & all their tests? And does it make ME a bad mother for giving my babies formula because MY BODY refused to produce milk? Does it make fathers bad parents when they follow doctor’s orders (say when there is no mother to breastfeed or to pump her milk? If the mother
