Do Pancake Tortoises make good pets?
Pancake tortoises are quite hard to come by in this country. Even more so if you want genuine UK captive bred. I suggest you do plenty of research on them. There are plenty of tortoise species available from breeders in this country such as russians, red foots, ibera’s, hermans and spur thighed’s. So its worth looking at these too and seeing if any appeals to you. As pancakes are hard to come by they will be very expensive to buy, i daresay they probably reach the £300 mark and probably exceed it.
