Do Ovulation tests work?
The tests show and LH surge, not the egg actually being released. An LH surge usually happens 12-36 hours before ovulation, but it is possible to have a surge and not release an egg. Some women dont ovulate evry cycle, and some don’t at all. infertility is defined as trying for one year and not getting pregnant. In that case, you’d need to talk to your doctor. When you get a positive from your ovulation test, have sex that day, and every day for the next 3 days. Don’t wory too much about if you’re actually ovulating, just assume you are and “get on with the fun stuff”. baby making can be stressful when you really want it, but just try to relax and enjoy it.
