Do other people affect one’s self esteem?

0

A – Yes and no. Others can only affect how one feels about oneself if one allows what others say or do to affect them. Self esteem comes from within and is maintained and sustained inside a person once established. While it is created in one’s environment of people it is only sustained with one’s permission. That point explains why siblings living in the same house with the same people can be so different in their outlook and self esteem levels.
