Do Osburn gas fireplaces work without electricity?
Yes. All Osburn gas fireplaces (fireplace inserts and freestanding stoves) use a millivolt generator. No electrical power is needed. The only accessory that relies upon electricity to function is the blower. The wall thermostat and the remote control operate independently from any outside electrical current and therefore would not be affected by a power failure.
