Oral Health Care Products, which bear a specific claim for alleviating, treating, curing or preventing a disease or symptoms of a pathological condition are to be registered as a medicinal product. In the cause of toothpaste for example, claims relating to protection against sensitive dentine, and prevention of plaque build-up and cavities can also be registered.
