Do only certified educators come under the jurisdiction of the PSPC?

0

The PSPC has jurisdiction to impose discipline against any certificated educator, including administrators or those working in a non-certificated position, notwithstanding his or her current employment status or state of residence. In addition, those staff members of a charter school who would have to hold certification if they worked in a traditional public school also fall within the jurisdiction of the PSPC. Non-certificated employees of a public school are not covered by the Professional Educator Discipline Act.
