Do non-believers and believers live in the same reality?
God isn’t real. I don’t see an act of god anywhere on this planet. he doesn’t talk to people, he performs no miracles, yet HE gets thanked whenever a hardworking team of doctors spends a few months treating cancer in a patient, and not the doctors themselves. Everyone sees reality a little differently, and I think everyone has their own ideas about what happens when you die. Personally, I think that earth is another planet’s hell, and after this, maybe I’ll get a shot at the good life. I’m just lucky enough to find happiness here while I’m here, and that’s my doing, not a character from a book.
Reality is “everything that exists whether visable or not”. So the answer is no non-believers and believers do not always occupy the same reality. There are many layers to reality. Some of those are invisable. Sometimes believers have the privilage to view or even occupy those invisable layers of reality for a time. All of us are both physical and spiritual beings. We all experience the physical world but there is also a spiritual world all around us.
Or have we been living in the world of illusionary things. Our reality may not have been known yet because everything we see around are landscape made by nature but most of the things we enjoy in our daily lives are made by man’s imagination and creation to amuse himself by making himself useful. Until now. we are still stuck with the questions why are we here or why am i here and then we sometimes conclude the reason we are born, for the reason why we suffer or even for the reason why each of us is differently experiencing one’s life. I would rather choose to live in the world full of wondering for I may find my usefulness in the world than live in utopia as if everyone knows the answer and excitement over disagreements that are lost.
