Do no-kill sanctuaries use humane medical euthanasia???
Vincent, the kitties that are there that have spinal injuries, are they in pain? I know that Rikki is a no kill Living Assisted area. But none of the animals that live there are in pain are they? Two questions that a lot of people ask or wonder about No Kill. Does no kill mean you never euthanize? No it doesn’t. It means you never euthanize for space or just because you can or because somebody is a nuisance or something. Every no kill I’ve ever talked to does use medical euthanasia in hopeless cases. We all die. That’s a natural part of life. That’s just the way it is. We’re born, we live, we die. We believe that, though life on this planet is very valuable, it’s not all there is to “life”.
