Do new freshmen or transfer students need to attend any pre-semester orientations?

0

Incoming UH DE undergraduate students may need to sign up for one of two New Student Conferences. Incoming freshmen attend the New Student Orientation (NSO), while transfer students (with more than 15 hours of transfer credit) attend the Advising and Registration for Transfers (ART). While incoming students in the Houston area will need to attend one of these New Student Conferences, those outside of the area may petition for a waiver. In order to request a waiver from these conferences, students should e-mail orientation@uh.edu with your situation, and copy DEservices@uh.edu.
