Do navy blue and terra cotta go together?

0

Orange and blue are complementary colors. They go together well. There is one consideration however: if you have just orange and blue in the room, then they will become screaming colors! The orange will make the blue shout out and the blue will make the orange do the same. If you have other colors in the room, it will work. Consider using the terra cotta on the walls since you like it so much. Just tone it down a bit. Go a couple of shades lighter. If you use a color wheel and make a triangle of orange with colors located equal distance away you will get your biggest contrast – purple or green. Either or both of these colors are fantastic with orange. Here is a link to a simple color wheel. http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/im… Hope this helps!
