Do Native Americans have facial hair?

Answer I have known American Indian people of quite a few different Nations and tribal affiliations, and have noticed that it varies widely. I have Pueblo and Navajo friends with mustaches and Navajo and Pueblo friends who only shaved once in a while if they felt like it! I don’t think you can make a general observation such as do they or don’t they when you’re dealing with as diverse a group as Native Americans in general. I know that there seems to be a belief that Plains people, Lakota in particular don’t have facial hair, but I’ve met several Lakota and Cheyenne men who do, so I guess that theory is out the window, too. Hope this helps.
