Do mysteries of places like Stonehenge, Easter Island, and the Pyramids of Egypt entrigue you?
Ancient cultures of the world have intrigued me since I was a child and one of the first things i did when i went to the U.K in my teens was to visit Stonehenge,Glastonbury and see the Piltdown Man. I haven’t been to Easter Island but it is a mystery how and why the people fell compelled to erect those gigantic stone faces looking out to the sea. It was Egypt and its amazing history that captured my heart so much so that I gave up my previous career to return to University and get my masters degree in Egyptology. Now I can gain access and see all the things that were always chained off or behind iron gates before. But no matter how many times I go into any of the pyramids, tombs or temples the feeling of wonder and awe never lessons, if anything it has grown there. I have found there is much truth in the adage “The more you learn, the more you want to know.” I have absolutely no regrets and love my work, which is more of an obsession than a profession.
