It depends on what kind they are. If they are pressureless balls, then they won’t have as good a bounce. If you bought them in a bag rather than a can, then they are pressureless. Basically, pressureless balls don’t have as good a bounce, but they never really lose what bounce they do have. Also, if you just opened a can, but it’s an old can, it’s quite possible that they died just sitting around. Those can’s don’t keep them pressureized indefinitely. If you just bought the can, then it could very well be because they are cheap. My experience is that Penn balls feel the best right out of the can, but don’t last too long. Wilson kinda has a middle ground. And Dunlop’s last a while, but seem kinda hard until you break them in.
