Do my children still need to use mouthwashes if they are using EvoraKids?
This is a tricky question. When using EvoraKids, your children will not need antibacterial or plaque-control mouthwashes. In fact, antibacterial mouthwashes are specifically NOT recommended for use with EvoraKids, as these mouthwashes are intended to eliminate all bacteria in the mouth, thus rendering the probiotic benefits of the products ineffective. However, we recommend continuing the use of fluoride mouthwashes for children, as these products have been proven to help strengthen the enamel of children’s teeth without disrupting the healthy balance of bacteria in their mouths.
