Do muslims follow the 10 Commandments?

0

Yes, but they aren’t organized like the 10 Commandments, they are laws scattered throughout the Qur’an. The Sabbath is on Friday though, and they don’t believe that God had to rest. Other than that they are exactly the same laws.

Allow me clear one mis-conception that most of the non-Muslims have about Islam. Islam is not a religion brought by Muhammad (pbuh), but it is a religion which has its origin from the time of Hazrat Adam(pbuh) and it was continued by the other prophets like Nuh, Sulaiman, Dawood, Moosa, Eesa and other prophets.(Peace be upon them all). Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was the last and final link of this chain of prophets. A Muslim cannot be a Muslim if he does not believe in even one of them or if he differentiates between them. Moosa(pbuh) i.e. Moses was given the ten Commandments, hence all Muslim believe in them. The religion of Islam was completed on Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
