Do Muskogee live in teepees and did they hunt buffalo?
The teepees and buffalo you see on movies and tv are representations of more Western style habits. The Muskogee are an Eastern Nation. Instead of teepees, they lived in lodges or long houses. Today, many Muskogee Villages have a single longhouse associated with their ceremonial grounds in which food preparation and general gatherings may be conducted. The major traditional food sources of Muskogee people are fish and other seafood, like oysters and clams, and wild game and fowl such as rabbit, deer, turkey, duck, or bear.
