I’m from Australia and I’ve lived in the US for a time, they seem to have a divorce culture. Couples shack up a lot and men are reluctant to get married because the system seems to be biased against them and they can get all the benefits of marriage without the obligations by living together, women persue careers until they’re over 30 then they are suddenly in a hurry to get married and they settle for someone that they shouldn’t because he’s available and the biological clock is ticking any don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to have kids. It just leads to unhappy marriages and divorce.
