Do most students take advantage of the NYC job fair?
Yes, they do. Last year, we had 130 students attend — that’s out of about 220 students per class. But that’s not necessarily how many people are seeking a job. Do you receive a fair amount of input from employers about what works and what doesn’t? We’re constantly seeking input from companies because we want to make sure that we’re developing a product consistent with employer needs. So, probably every aspect of the services we provide reflects some form of employer input. How much have you modified your programming based upon the feedback you get from employers? I think the area that has been most affected by recruiter feedback is our career advising, and that’s key. For example, we implemented a new program based on the whole idea of “case interviewing,” or the method that some top consulting firms use to interview students.
