Do most senior health plans include dental work, durable medical equipment, and/or organ transplants?

Medicare Part A and B DO NOT include dental work; however, some Medicare Advantage plans may include or offer dental coverage. Durable medical equipment is NOT covered by Medicare Part A, but Part B may offer assistance for certain types of approved durable medical equipment. Medicare will cover organ transplants so long as the your transplant is performed at a Medicare-approved transplant facility. Part A does not cover immunosupressive drugs post-transplant, but Medicare Part B does. You should check with Medicare Advantage and Medigap providers to see the coverage they offer for transplants.
