Do most salons do pedicures/manicures barehanded/without gloves on?
No they dont use gloves. Maybe if you have fungus on your feet (im not being rude, there are really antifungal treatments) then they will. but they apply lots of cream and massage it into the legs and arms so no you cant do that with gloves. OBviously massages feel better without gloves! it isnt necessary for the esethcian to wear gloves there is no fear of them contracting something unless they have an open wound (which they cover if they do) plus to do cuticles and paint nails its very precise so they need their hands.
