Do most major real estate companies recognize online real estate schools?
For something like real estate, getting the license seems to be much more important than anything else. I’ve known people who didn’t go to school at all and just studied for their license on their own and they’ve had no trouble. Allied schools is accredited so there’s no reason why it should be looked down upon. Here’s a good comment I found that’s not related directly to real estate but to distance learning in general: There is no evidence that employers consider a distance degree inferior. In fact many corporations use distance methods to train employees. Employers are not qualified to make that decisions about university quality. That is why accreditation organizations exist. If the institution is accredited, then it is “socially legitimate”. In addition most traditional universities offer online education.
