No most come from being drop outs, laziness, no jobs, and drugs. Then there a few that got divorced and others are homeless due to Mother Nature.

A large number of mentally ill people who are uninsured and/or not looked after by family end up homeless.

Homeless people are homeless because of drugs, alcohol, and mental illness. Some are just down on their luck and end up losing their jobs and have no income and end up losing their homes and everything that they own.

Why don’t you go and ask a homeless person. You can buy him or her dinner while you are asking. In all honesty I don’t think that there is a specific reason people become homeless. I would say that mental illness and drugs are the main causes…I have never heard of someone becoming homeless because of a divorce.
