Do mosquito magnets really work?

Mosquito magnets do work, however the main question is can they keep up with the population of mosquitos you have on your property. There are a few things you can do to make it more effective for you. First and foremost remember that a mosquito magnet will attract mosquitos to its location, so id say placing it 30 meters(thats around 90ft) away from you for at the edge of your property so your not attracting all the neighborhood mosquitos to where you are. Then placing a mosquito disc(this is a bacteria that feeds on mosquito larva) in any standing water on or immediately around your property, neighbor approval may be necessary. This will help reduce the population of mosquitos overall. And as a final defense you can of course wear any of the OFF products containing DEET. Also make sure to cut any tall grass, and reduce brush near your home. This will reduce mosquito resting areas. All these conbined will help alot if not eliminate your problem.
