Do Mormons believe it is acceptable to operate charity casinos even though their church opposes gambling?
Well I’m sure that the LDS Church finds the tithes get from Bill Marriott and the other LDS officers and employees of Marriott Casinos (now conveniently located all over the world – but never in the United States) QUITE acceptable! “Plundering the Egyptians” I suppose (and even LITERALLY in the case of the Aruba Casino I suspect) is the rationalization. 😉 However, this is interesting in light of this article from LDS Apologist W.
