Do mobile phones work in Turkey?
Generally most GSM network mobile phones work in Turkey although at times reception can be erratic and some locations are unsuitable for mobile telephones (mountains), so we advise that you check with your airtime provider. Landlines with phone cards are the most cost effective way of calling whilst in the country and there are many of these in and around the villa areas.
