Do mobile phone towers cause brain tumors?
A handful of studies have noted a loose correlation between distance from phone mast and incidence of cancer. It is thought that the radiation emitted by the towers can lead to tumour growths. The general consensus, though, is that more long-term research is needed before any definitive conclusions can be established. There is really no need to panic – there are other factors that possess a far greater tendency to cause cancerous growths. Phone towers are NOT one of them.
