The persons required to conduct consultation and notification activities are defined in Part 2, Division 1, of the Consultation and Notification Regulation. Subsection 3 contains some exclusions from the obligation to consult or notify. Section 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 specify the distances for those activities for which consultation and notification activities must occur. See also the definition of “oil and gas road” in the definition section of the regulation.
