Do men recover from midlife crises?

0

I believe most of them do. They often want to return to the same life they had before they went through this period. They realized that the life they had before was not so terrible. It’s like the old saying “The grass is greener on the other side of the fence.” They have to see that grass before they are satisfied. Once they see that grass is grass, it’s like they come to their senses and want to return home. Of course, I can’t speak for all men and their crises, but I think yours just wanted to be free of the stress and it was the degree of stress he was under that made him just walk away. I have been in those shoes. He really needs counseling during this time, but I doubt if he would go.
