Do men have different body odour then women???
Men do have a different body odor than women. I think I should know. I’ve experienced life as both. Females don’t sweat as much, and the odor isn’t as strong. Men sweat more and has a stronger odor. Men also sweat much easier. I’m not sure the mechanics, but I’m pretty sure it has something to do with the testosterone. Testosterone is a steroid hormone and it’s based off of a lipid (or fat) complex. Maybe that has something to do with it. I’m not sure. *edit* but then again, so is estrogen. Actually there’s only one base pair difference between the make up of testosterone and estrogen..so maybe that’s not it. Ok…I’m officially stumped now. :\ All I know is before I started taking testosterone and was living as a female, I didnt sweat as much and I could put on deodorant and whatnot and it would last me all day. Now, living as a male for the last 4 years I have to use strong men’s deodorants, and I sweat much more easily, and in greater amounts.
