Do members pick their own vegetables?
Most vegetables are picked and ready for shareholders in a distribution area. Occasionally shareholders will be given opportunity to pick extra of certain crops such as peas, beans and tomatoes. We will try to let you know (preferably by email) within 24 hours before a pick-up time if there is going to be anything to pick so that you may arrange to have time to do the extra picking. You will be given instructions as to where to pick and the amounts that can be harvested per share. Herbs are available to shareholders on a pick-your-own basis, free choice, in conservative quantities.
