Do members have to adhere to any standards?
Yes, all members of the ITA have to adhere to the ITA Code of Professional Practice, Code of Ethics and Code of Equal Opportunities. Trainers and Training Establishment also have to adhere to the Code of Practice for Trainers and Training Establishments (Counselling/Educational/Organisational) and/or Code of Practice for Trainers and Training Establishments (Psychotherapy). ITA Registered Training Establishments have additional requirements, which you can find out about from the ITA Administrator. Some members are also registered with other bodies, so need to also adhere to those requirements.
