The short answer to this – yes and no! Some healthcare companies do, and some do not. The good news is that compared to as recently as five or six years ago, many more medical device companies do now consider pharmaceutical candidates as potential employees. As a very rough estimate, approximately 40% of healthcare companies do now interview pharmaceutical representatives, and as time goes on, more will do so. Why?
