So for the first time in my adult life we may see a government for the people by the people even if McCain becomes president. They pulled for Obama instead of Hillary much to my disappointment. It was however impressive just having the issues about the representatives has on the behavior of the representatives. People are watching no longer blindly trusting them to be honest and are so angry they are finally fighting back. So you are 100% right if the president does not have the backing of congress and senate they will have limited power. Bad news is so many new powers have been given directly to the president. Warrentless eves dropping when it benefit him. Now just this week the president has been given some direct authority of internet.
