Do many people complete their GAP Year and go on to complete a four-year degree?
A book recently published by Karl Haigler and Rae Nelson found that statistically 80% of students who have completed a “structured GAP Year” return within six months to university. Within 2 years 90% return to a four-year university, and 10% are lost through the normal attrition of higher education.
