A majority of American adults consume dietary supplements as a part of a holistic approach to better health. This trend is occurring at a time when American healthcare is in crisis. Hardest hit are those whose health is compromised; unable to obtain relief entirely from standard of care, they eagerly seek quality-of-life improvements through complementary therapies.
