Do major flooring companies hire small business who do flooring etc.. rather than hiring employees?
Most flooring stores use Sub Contractors for installation, if that is your question. They pay by the sq yard or sq foot, plus extra labor in specific cases. You just have to visit around and have some proof of your experience in different products, or references. Don’t just call on the phone. Better if they can see and meet you. I don’t know where you’re located, but if they are Union, you’ll have to join.
