Do magnet programs have entrance requirements?
Some magnet programs have entrance requirements that must be met in order to be considered for placement. These requirements are processed during the lottery. Other programs have entrance requirements that must be met in order to maintain the placement obtained through the lottery. These requirements are processed after the lottery. These requirements include scoring at certain levels on the EOG and EOC tests. If entrance requirements are not met, student are assigned to their home school.
