Do lime trees grow in hot places?

Yes, in fact, they do. I was with a group from my church in Reynosa, Mexico where the average temperature is about 106 degrees fahrenheit. At one of the sites where we were building houses, we found a tree with fruit that looked like lime on it. We asked the owner of the lot, and he confirmed that it was in fact a lime tree.
