Do letters of recommendation need to be sent directly from the recommender?
Although we accept letters of recommendation directly from the recommender, we would prefer that your letters of recommendation be provided on-line. However, each letter of recommendation provided in hard copy must arrive at the University of Maryland in an envelope that is individually sealed and signed.
