No, LawRex’s ratings are not comparable to Martindale.com or other company’s lawyer rating systems. Those other systems rate a lawyer’s reputation in the legal community in general; whereas, LawRex’s ratings only rate the quality of referrals that are sent out by participating lawyers. Thus, LawRex ratings cannot be used to judge the quality or character of individual lawyers; however, they can be used to judge what types of referrals individual lawyers have referred out in the past.
