No, LawRex’s ratings are not comparable to Martindale.com or other lawyer rating systems. Other systems rate a lawyer’s reputation in the legal community in general. LawRex only rates the quality of referrals that are posted by participating lawyers. LawRex ratings cannot be used to judge the quality or character of individual lawyers. However, LawRex ratings can and should be used to judge the quality of referrals individual lawyers have posted in the past. Members are free to link their profiles in outside ratings systems to their membership profile as a reference.
