Do large markets compete for votes with smaller markets?
No. The America’s Favorite Farmers Markets™ contest has four categories for large, medium, small and boutique farmers markets. Market size is determined by how many vendors each market has. The size brackets are: Boutique = 15 vendors or fewer Small = 16 – 30 Medium = 31 – 55 Large = 56+ vendors NOTE: Vendor number adjustments that change the size category of a farmers market will not be accepted from August 20th through the end of the contest. If you believe that your market is placed in the incorrect size category, please contact Gretchen Hoffman at ghoffman@farmland.org.
