Do labels need to be removed from food tins?

0

There is no need to remove labels as they simply burn off when the cans are actually recycled. However very keen recyclers can remove them and place them separately in paper banks or ‘Recycle from Home’ containers. Please make sure none of the glue that sticks the label to the can remains on the paper as this causes problems at the paper-recycling mill.
