Do Jewish people decorate their homes for Hanukkah?

I like to make holiday decorations for friends, but have no idea if that would be appropriate for Hanukkah. (I know Christmas ornaments and red and green decor are not suitable, but don’t know what would be.) Thank you. A: Ya, a little, not like Christmas. The candles are so pretty by themselves. If you do want to do decorations, I’d suggest a blue & white theme. Maybe colors that go with that. Menorahs, latkas, dreidels, hanukah gelt (small chocolate coins), oil lantern, all will work. My very first housemate after college asked me to join her in making Christmas ornaments (for myself) out of dough with a hook. So I made Hanukah themed ones in related shapes. You could tell she wasn’t very pleased. It made me sad. Other people & friends I’ve been able to share with, with joy.
