But for others, it is just like the blood products (these products may also not contain blood but at some time during their process may have used A CELL of animal blood or albumin) or medical procedures for transference of blood (cell saver or removing a small amount of blood for 2 minutes to mix with chemical radiation or other medicine and reinserting) – there has to be a one on one look at something like this for every Witness patient. Medical advances are taking place at lightning speed. What may not be acceptable today may be tomorrow. So AT THE TIME of possible need, a Witness will look at EVERY THING involved and will make an informed decision for their particular case that will not conflict with his or her conscience and Jehovah’s standards as outlined in the Bible.
